The group has been up and running for over twenty years. There are ten members who have remained constant throughout this time. Because we meet in each others homes and by the very nature of the group, this seems to be the ideal number.

We meet on the last Wednesday of the month, in the afternoon from 2.00p.m-4.00p.m.

We read a book a month,with a wide variety of topics and these are discussed with every one giving their views and it gets quite lively at times!! The choice of the monthly book is done democratically and the books are ordered and obtained from the Staines Library.

It is a very friendly group which I enjoy leading.
