This is a new group for SU3A K2. We meet in members homes on the 3rd Tuesday every month in the morning from 10.30 to 12.00.
The group membership is currently full but can accept new members on a waiting list.
We research a topic and then discuss, as a group, how the lives of ordinary people of this country were affected.
A wide range of subjects is proposed including (but not limited to) transport, how electricity and the First World War changed lives for example.
Initially the group is starting with 1800-1860’s studying the Workhouse and Health of this period leading onto Education, Crime and Punishment.
