Our group has been going for 16 years with two original members still participating. We enjoy French literature and are currently on our fouth Maigret novel by Georges Simenon. This is interspersed by following an online course 'Coffee-Break French' which concentrates on contemporary French usage, introducing modern idioms and new vocabulary.

We meet virtually via Zoom on alternate Thursdays, with members contributing puzzles, news items and reports on personal activities. We break in December and August and now that we can socialise again, get together for 'end-of term' coffee and cake.
