The group meets in Staines on the third Thursday morning of each month 10.15am-12.00 and has been established to give support to those members who have made a promise to themselves or their families to write an account of their lives and have never got round to it! We have started chronologically and have written about our immediate families and homes at the time of our birth. At each meeting we will choose a passage to read to the group. We will endeavour to put in social and cultural comment to give our writing historical context. It's surprising how many of us grew up with outside toilets!
