This is armchair travel to cities around the world. We explore the places to visit in the cities, touch on its history, geography, culture and food. We also look at fiction and non fiction books on the cities that touch on the history and culture. We look at cookery books that explains the cultural and ethnic influences on the food. At each meeting there will be 3 persons nominated to the food team to cook sample dishes from the city. They will experiment and share typical food from the city. Members with first hand experiences are also invited to share their knowledge and experiences.

The group meets on the fourth Monday in the month between 2-4pm in Ashford.
