Weald and Downland Museum Coach trip - (note this is also listed as Walking Group outing).
Cost is £20 - £35 depending on options chosen. A booking form has been emailed to all members and is also available from Lesley O'Malley. You can contact Lesley by clicking on the blue text next to "organiser" above. This will open up a new screen where you can write and send your message.
The Walking Group have arranged a walk in the vicinity of the Weald and Downland Museum.
There are spare places on the coach so there is an opportunity for an outing for non-walkers to the museum. Lesley has arranged for up to 30 people to have a private talk and tour by the museum's curator.
£33 (without talk and tour), £35 (with talk and tour).
Full details of the outing have been emailed out, but if you have not received them they are available from Lesley.
Please note: This outing has an early start and the coach will depart from Ashford High Street (in the lay-by outside the old Multi-Storey Car Park.
I'll be taking bookings from Thursday at our monthly meeting at the Citadel. To help avoid congestion, you'll probably find me in the tea room near the biscuit table (I promise to leave some biscuits for everyone!).
Places will be allocated in the order that payment is received.
Please note: Bookings close on 28th August, and Lesley won't be at the August Citadel meeting, so please don't leave it until then to book.
To help everything run smoothly, please avoid bringing loose cash or loose cheques. Please place your payment in a sealed envelope, together with the booking form or hand written note, clearly labelled with:
- Your name
- The outing name
- The amount enclosed
- Whether the payment is cash or cheque
If you're paying by cheque, please make it payable to SU3A K2.
If your cheque covers more than one person, please write everyone's names on the back of the cheque.
