A flat Amble around the lakes with (hopefully) blackberry picking. Bring a plastic bag or box to put your blackberries in. There may be some tree roots so be aware of your footing. There is some trampled wire netting near the start so amblers need to keep to the centre of the path. There is a small bridge we need to cross with a few steps at each end. Toilet stop, if required, about 5 mins from car park at Margaret’s house. Same, if required, on the way back. Back to Sylvia’s afterwards for a tea/coffee and biscuit.
