This walk will be done at a moderate but easy pace.

Parking: Car parking strip alongside Ripley Green.

Start: 10am.

Directions: GU23 6AN. Follow the A3 south, taking the turning on the left signed Ripley and Send. Continue along the road into Ripley Village, turning right at the ornate village sign to the car park by the Green.

Description: A Fancy-Free walk passing the Papercourt Lake, continuing along woodland paths to the Way Navigation with a view of the historic Newark Priory before returning to the start. The walk crosses a flood plain at the end of the walk and can be muddy in wet weather.

Toilets at start but no facilities during the walk. Coffee and lunch if desired in Ripley where there are several pleasant lunch stops.
