Was originally postponed due to the hot weather. The walk will be held on this new date, weather permitting.

Drive to Rickmansworth (about 40 minutes from Ashford) and park in CitiPark car park at 192, Rectory Road, Rickmansworth, WD3 1FX, arriving at 10:30, latest.

This car park costs £5 to park all day.
There is an alternative, slightly more expensive YourParkingSpace car park at https://maps.app.goo.gl/MT5xrK5AoeTzfV7E7,  alongside the CitiPark one.

Having parked, walk from the car park to bus stop C on Homestead Road at https://maps.app.goo.gl/WiXJhk3RE6x6Mxit8.
From this bus stop, we catch a 336 bus at 10:51 to the Tudor Arms in North Watford, arriving at around 11:27.  Alternatively, from this same bus stop, we can catch a 725 bus at 10:56, to Watford Clarendon Road, Stop S, walk to Stop M on Beechen Grove and catch the same 336 bus from there to the Tudor Arms.

On arrival at The Tudor Arms, we will cross the road to visit the Tudor Café for tea/coffee/toilets.

We start walking from the Tudor Café at around 11:50 and walk just over 2¼ miles to the Tasty Bean Café in Oxhey Activity Park, arriving at around 12:45.  This is our lunch stop and the menu can be seen at https://tastybean.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2025/10/Lunch-Menu-AW-25_26-Final.pdf.
It’s maybe not the healthiest of menus so those who prefer to take a packed lunch can eat it in the Activity Park close to the café.

After lunch, we walk 4.2 miles (2½ hrs) back to Rectory Road Car Park in Rickmansworth arriving at around 16:15.  There is a potential pit stop at Café Lock 81 at about 3.7 miles from the lunch stop.  There are also multiple cafes and pubs on Rickmansworth High Street shortly before we reach the car park.
