The area around the lock and mills can be nice to visit and there are a variety of things to photograph.

The suggestion is to park in Bourneside Road KT15 2JX at around 2pm. There are spaces alongside the road (it is best to avoid the off-road bay right next to the private Mill area as this has a 2 hour limit - there is a sign to show this in this specific bay). It is a very short walk to the lock and surrounding area

It is a nice stretch of the Wey Navigation here, so we can walk along to get different views of the mills and the river/canal.

For those who want to, we can wander along for a drink at the Pelican (a 10 minute, 0.3 mile walk from the mill/lock).
