Description:
Route: The pretty Berkshire village of Hurley, a lovely open stretch of the Thames Path, fields, hedgerows and light woodland. No stiles. One gradual ascent along a hedgerow track - about one kilometre.
Meet:
Large car park (free) opposite Hurley Church. Post Code SL6 5NF.
There are also several marked areas for free parking along the roadside as you drive through Hurley.
Meet Time: To start walk at 10.15

Directions:
M25, M4 West. Leave at junction 8/9 and follow the M404 towards Marlow. Take left turn on to A4130 towards Henley. After about 1 mile look out for a right turn into Hurley village.
Alternative route is to follow the A308 through Windsor towards Maidenhead and take the M308 to pick up the M404.
Refreshments and Toilets:
Toilets available at Hurley Lock, at the start of the walk. A village shop, which sells light refreshments, should be open at the start and end of the walk. Two pubs available on our return to Hurley.
Lunch at The Dew Drop Inn, about two-thirds of the way around the walk. Indoor and outdoor seating is available for lunch. Drinks can be also be taken to an area of picnic tables further from the pub garden, but lunch will not be served here.
